BANK OF KIGALI UNVEILS ITS ULK OUTLET
In a bid to serve its customers with quality service, the Bank of Kigali commonly known by its acronym as BK, unveiled its ULK outlet which will be enabling the campus community; students and staff members to access various BK services without having to walk out of the campus. The function was held today on 5th October, 2017.
A considerable number of dignitaries who witnessed the ribbon cutting ceremony are among others; the Founder and President of Kigali Independent University, Prof. Dr RWIGAMBA Balinda, ULK Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ezechiel SEKIBIBI, ULK staff and students while on the other hand was Dr. Diane KARUSISI, Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Kigali together with the delegation she was heading.
Before the official inauguration of the outlet, the CEO of BK had a privilege to address the entire community of ULK whereby her statement centered on the culture of saving and its outcome. As she said, if one upholds the culture of saving, they may end up becoming financially strong and be among the financial leaders of tomorrow who would transform their lives and their countries.
At the end of her talk, Dr. Karusisi urged everyone to open an account in BK to be able to enjoy the services and opportunities found in that bank.
In his welcome note, Dr. Ezechiel SEKIBIBI underscored that ULK has always been blessed with the presence of various visitors who are used to visiting the campus with a view to address the university community on life transforming topics.
In his closing remarks, the Founder and President of ULK, Prof. Dr RWIGAMBA Balinda expressed his gratitude vis-à-vis the longstanding relationships between ULK and BK. He thereafter recommended everyone to open an account in BK and start saving for themselves and for the benefit of their nation.
“ULK has been enjoying cordial relations with BK ever since this university was created. Basing on these relationships, I would like to recommend everyone at ULK to open an account in BK and start saving”, he urged the attendees.
“We need people who chase fear and are ready to save for their own future and the future of this nation”, he added.
To prove that the function was interesting, a stream of students expressed their desire to ask questions, when the master of ceremony announced the right time for questions and comments. All questions were answered to the satisfaction of each and everyone and this marked the end.
