Education State Minister visits ULK Kigali

On 12th July 2017, Kigali Independent University ULK hosted a conference under which a theme was on sustainability. The guest of the day was Hon. Isaac Munyakazi, Minister of State in Charge of Primary and Secondary Education in the Ministry of Education. It is an event that attracted people from all walks of life such as lecturers, ULK students and Senior Managers of the University to mention just a few.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Sekibibi Ezechiel, the Vice Chancellor of Kigali Independent Univesrity ULK thanked everyone for having valued the conference. He fully thanked the State Minister for having taken his precious evening and dedicated it to Kigali Independent University ULK. In addition, he requested the audience to lend their ears to the State Minister’s message.

The State Minister’s message centered mainly on how the achivements made by Rwanda  under the  visionary leadership of His Excellency Paul Kagame can be sustained and enjoyed by the next generations. The State Minister reminded the audience the extent to which Rwanda prior and soon after the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi was in shambles in all domains and now how Rwanda, a small country on the map has become a shining star and role model state in the heart of Africa. Hence he requested everyone present to own ,protect and strive for the sustainability of all achievements.  Besides, he strongly reminded them to firmly uphold their dignity and identity as Rwandans, and commended the influencial as well as inspiring  good leadership that made Rwanda the way it looks today.  At the end of the function, members of the audience were given the floor to ask questions and the State Minister answered in a satisfactory manner and the audience pledged to remain firm to their oneness.

From start to the end, the audience was fully excited as an indication that the State Minister was a highly convincing speaker.
