In the beginning of the 2011 academic year, the Chancellor appointed different senior authorities:

-A new Rector, Dr Ezechiel SEKIBIBI;

-Two new Academic Vice-Rectors : Dr KAAYA Siraje for Kigali Campus and Dr CYEZE MUNYAMASOKO Emmanuel for Gisenyi Campus;

-New Deans and new Head of Departments were elected by their colleagues.
