Today July 15, 2015, Kigali Independent University ULK officially launched ULK Open Door Day event which is supposed to end July 31, 2015. This event was organized in order to showcase innovations, new initiatives and many other achievements attained by ULK in a bid to provide quality of education to its esteemed stakeholders.

Prof. Dr. Rwigamba Balinda, Founder and President of Kigali Independent University ULK expressed his vote of thanks to all partners who come to witness achievements attained by ULK. He said that ULK runs many activities but the Open Door Day event had two main purposes. One is to showcase all the activities and services provided by the institution and to be able to receive feedback enabling the institution to improve the work already done and achieve more.

Those who witnessed the event included Hon. Uwacu Julienne, Minister of Sports and Culture and representatives of public and private institutions.
They visited different venues on campus including physical and digital libraries, computer laboratories, Workshops and laboratories of ULK Polytechnic Institute as well as the exhibition room. The latter accommodates stands of departments and other initiatives such as organizations and companies created by ULK alumni.

Impressed by the work of ULK, Hon. Minister of Sports and culture thanked all efforts made by ULK in a bid to promote quality and she recommended other institutions to borrow a leaf from that commendable work.
