ULK Polytechnic Institute in partnership with CMU-Rwanda organizes a presentation on New Protection in Power Networks

On Thursday, 28th January 2016, ULK Polytechnic Institute students and administrative cadres met with a delegation from Carnegie Mellon University – Rwanda campus.

The meeting was held on the topics of New Protection in Power Networks.

The main presenters were Dr TAHA selim USTUN (Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University in Electrical & Computer Engineering Department), Eng. MUNYANEZA Silas (Head of ULK Polytechnic Institute) and Dr KARAMBIZI Sylvestre Deputy Vice Chancellor Postgraduate Studies, Research and Consultancy.

Dr TAHA selim USTUN thanked the University for organizing the Public Lecturing. He mentioned the importance of smart grid in engineering career nowadays.

The event ended by the closing remarks from the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Postgraduate Studies, Research and Consultancy, Dr KARAMBIZI Sylvestre.
